IMPORTANT DATE - THURSDAY OCT 10

Next Thursday, October 10, is an important date in the legal fight to stop high rise development at Lota House.
 
That’s when details of a mediation meeting between Village Retirement Group and the Brisbane City Council are due to be discussed in the Planning and Environment Court, 415 George Street, Brisbane City.
 
The mediation meeting was held last Friday, October 4, but details haven’t yet been released.
 
Join us in court
 
Members of the Bayside Action Group will be travelling by train to the Court on Thursday  October 10 to hear what the lawyers have to say.
 
We will be in the last carriage of the Cleveland to City train, leaving Lota Station at 7.55 am.  Join us on the train or make your own way to the court and meet us there.
 
Bayside Action Group has urged the Brisbane City Council not to compromise on the development code. We don’t want lawyers for Village Retirement Group deciding what should be built in our community. We want our case to be heard fully and to go to trial if necessary.
