How to Object
On April 3, 2019, the Brisbane City Council rejected Anglicare and Village Retirement Groups application for high-rise unit development at Lota House. On April 9, 2019, Village Retirement Group appealed against the council's decision. The appeal is being heard in the Planning and Environment Court. See court details. Visit our latest news page for more information. We want the council to keep fighting the case in court. We don't want a negotiated, compromise development that's inappropriate for the area. Let the council and the politicians know that we are still opposed to high rise at Lota House.
